Ruth Soller » Gilded Coast Cloudscape

Guilded Coast Cloudscape is fourth in my abstract cloudscape series. I created this original oil on linen painting based on a dramatic sky I photographed from my back yard. I saw in the photo an aerial view of an ocean with golden gilded coastlines on islands covered by turbulent violet-grey cloud forms. Dark sea creatures swam in the foreground as the yellow-orange sunset reflected in the turquoise sea. If you enjoy this piece, it would mean so much to me to hear your thoughts.
