I'm honored that my oil painting "Backlit Aspens Guanella Pass" is one of 80 artworks worldwide selected for this 2023 Healing Power of Color International Exhibition by Manhattan Arts International Founder, Director, and Curator Renee Phillips.
My magical landscapes express the healing power of color in nature. I use layers of oil pigments applied with a palette knife. Brilliant yellows and golds of the quaking aspen leaves trigger emotions of happiness, friendliness, and optimism, while the variety of green hues represent growth, refreshment, and hope.
